The Odisha government on Tuesday made significant administrative changes by appointing six 2022 batch IAS officers as sub-collectors in various state subdivisions following their training completion. This move aims to streamline operations and enhance administrative efficiency.
Akshay Pillay is set to take on the role of sub-collector in Bonei, while Prahlad Narayan Sharma has been named the new sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) of Athagarh. Both officers bring fresh perspectives and skills essential for regional governance.
Further appointments include Arugula Sneha as sub-collector of Padampur, Akavaram Sasya Reddy in Jeypore, Samir Kumar Jena as SDM of Talcher, and Soumyaranjan Pradhan as Rairangpur SDM, reflecting the state's commitment to robust and effective administration.
