Union Home Minister Amit Shah Unveils Rs 1003 Crore Development Projects for Ahmedabad

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah announced the launch of development projects worth Rs 1003 crore in Ahmedabad, just ahead of the Raksha Bandhan festival. According to an official release, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is behind 45 development projects, which were e-launched during the event. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was also present.
The ceremony saw dignitaries including Amit Shah and Bhupendra Patel flagging off the 'Door to Door Waste Collection' van, with Shah interacting with residents. He praised the Gujarat Government and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation for initiating projects worth Rs 1003 crore in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad Lok Sabha areas. Notably, Ahmedabad saw 21 projects worth Rs 730 crore inaugurated.
Amit Shah cited the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a response to climate change, urging residents to plant 30 lakh trees within 100 days. Shah emphasized that continuous government investment has led to progressive development in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar constituencies, aiming for a future Viksit Gujarat.
