The Municipal Corporation of Delhi will webcast the elections for its ward and standing committee members live on their official YouTube channel this Wednesday.
The civic body has confirmed that all necessary preparations are complete for the event. The elections, aimed at appointing chairpersons and deputy chairpersons for each of the 12 zonal bodies, are scheduled for September 4.
Election proceedings in six zones, including City and SP Zone, Rohini Zone, Najafgarh Zone, West Zone, South Zone, and Central Zone, will take place between 10 am and 4 pm at Hansraj Gupta Auditorium. Simultaneously, elections in the remaining six zones, such as Karol Bagh Zone and Keshav Puram Zone, will be conducted at Satya Narayan Bansal Auditorium. The elections will follow a secret ballot under the Delhi Municipal Corporation Regulations, 1958.
