VHP President Condemns Knife Attack on Student in Udaipur School

International President of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Alok Kumar, on Saturday condemned the knife attack on a class 10 student by his classmate at a government school. Kumar questioned the mindset that led schoolchildren to carry and use knives.
He attributed the incident to a broader societal problem of violence and urged civil society to work towards ending it. Following the incident, Udaipur's district administration imposed Section 144 and shut down internet services for 24 hours to prevent communal violence.
Udaipur SP Yogesh Goyal remarked on public outrage and vandalism following the attack, stating that the injured child's condition is stable. District Collector Arvind Poswal confirmed that both the attacker and his father have been arrested, and he appealed to the public to ignore rumors and verify information to maintain peace.
