Odisha Prepares for Independence Day with Vigorous Security Measures and Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign
Comprehensive security arrangements are in place for the state-level Independence Day celebrations in Odisha. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aims to inspire citizens to hoist the national flag. Deputy CM Pravati Parida revealed that the initiative would be observed across districts, schools, and colleges to promote national pride.

Ahead of the Independence Day celebrations in Odisha, full dress rehearsals for the state-level parade took place in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Arun Kumar Sarangi told ANI that special arrangements have been made for security across the state, including Maoist-affected areas.
"We have made elaborate security arrangements in the state for the Independence Day celebrations. There will be a district and state-level parade. In the Naxal-affected areas, we have alerted our security forces and police forces in the sensitive areas," said the DGP. He also mentioned that 58 contingents would participate in the parade.
At the state-level parade, the Chief Minister of Odisha will hoist the national flag. A total of 58 contingents are set to participate," Sarangi added. Meanwhile, the Har Ghar Tiranga signature campaign was launched by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy CM Pravati Parida, and other leaders at Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan and Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management Suresh Pujari were also present. Deputy CM Pravati Parida, speaking to ANI, said the campaign aims to encourage every household in Odisha to hoist the national flag, symbolizing pride and loyalty to the country. The initiative will be observed across every district under the supervision of the collector, and every school and college will organize the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.
The "Har Ghar Tiranga" initiative, launched by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, seeks to promote patriotism and national unity. Parida noted that the campaign aims to inspire every household in Odisha to hoist the national flag as a symbol of national pride. The campaign will run in every district under the collector's supervision, with schools and colleges orchestrating the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. Tiranga rallies are also being organized statewide.
