Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) swiftly acted upon Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's call for help for flood-affected residents in Vijayawada. Partnering with the Hare Krishna Movement India, MEIL launched a comprehensive food distribution initiative.

On Tuesday, the program successfully served meals to 1,35,000 individuals at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada, providing breakfast to 25,000 people and lunch and dinner to 1,10,000 individuals. The food was prepared by the Hare Krishna Movement India's kitchens and MEIL, later distributed by government officials to the affected areas.

The joint effort will continue for several more days, with plans to increase meal distribution volumes, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and water bottles, ensuring wider reach to flood victims. Kommareddy Bapi Reddy, AP Regional Office In-charge, MEIL, reaffirmed the company's dedication to social responsibility, committing to stand by those affected by natural disasters.
