Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a virtual review on Sunday to ensure proper development work and law enforcement ahead of the state's upcoming festivals, as per an official release. He warned of strict action against any delays in resolving public grievances.

The Chief Minister directed that the safety of women should not be compromised and encouraged the public to celebrate festivals with zeal. He issued guidelines for smooth festivities and instructed the police to handle any disruptive elements firmly.

CM Yogi stressed maintaining clear communication with district ministers and providing immediate financial help to families affected by human-wildlife conflicts. Additionally, he urged officials to continue relief efforts in flood-affected regions, emphasizing that there should be no compromise on the quality and quantity of aid materials.

Earlier in the day, CM Yogi visited Bahraich district to address the wolf attack incidents. He assured locals of the administration's commitment through 'Operation Bhediya' to make the district safe. He highlighted the coordination between forest officials and emphasized the availability of anti-rabies venom while continuing efforts to capture the last of the attacking wolves.

Speaking to residents, CM Yogi explained that wolves had been entering human settlements due to environmental changes and reinforced that shoot-at-sight orders were a last resort. The forest department had been actively setting up snap cameras and monitoring wolf movements to ensure public safety.
