In a remarkable cultural exchange, Pune, the city known for pioneering the concept of sarvajanik Ganeshotsav, is extending its festive celebrations to Kashmir for the second year in a row.

Pune's prominent Ganesh mandals are hosting the 10-day festival in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Kupwara starting from September 7. The initiative aims to bring communities together and promote social harmony.

Three replicas of revered Ganesh idols have been sent to various parts of Kashmir, highlighting the festival's growing acceptance and support from locals. Organizers hope this initiative will foster peace and pave the way for celebrating more festivals in the region.
