For the second consecutive year, seven renowned Ganesh Mandals from Pune are set to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in Kashmir, expanding their festivity to new locations such as Anantnag and Kupwara. The celebrations, starting on September 7, highlight the festival's growing reach beyond its traditional Pune borders.

Notably, the participating Ganesh Mandals—Kasba Ganpati, Tambdi Jogeshwari, Guruji Talim, Tulshibaug Ganpati, Kesariwada Ganpati Mandal, Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati, and Akhil Mandai Mandal—handed over replicas of their revered idols to Kashmiri Pandits. Sandeep Raina mentioned that this year, the grandeur will unfold in Anantnag, a focal point for the local Kashmiri Pandit community.

Highlighting the milestone, Punit Balan, President of the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, expressed joy at being part of this significant cultural initiative. He noted that the festival's observance in Kashmir marks a return of peace and tradition to the valley after more than three decades, showcasing the power of cultural exchange and unity.
