Tragedy Strikes: Four Boys Drown in Rajasthan Pond

Four boys aged 17-18 drowned in a pond in Tonk, Rajasthan while trying to rescue a buffalo. The incident occurred in Mohammadpura village. The victims, Hansraj, Dilkhush, Vikas, and Vijay, got stuck in mud and drowned, according to the police. Their bodies have been sent for postmortem.

In a tragic incident, four boys aged 17 to 18 years drowned in a pond in Rajasthan's Tonk district on Wednesday. The boys, identified as Hansraj, Dilkhush, Vikas, and Vijay, had entered the pond to rescue a buffalo but became stuck in the mud and subsequently drowned, according to Station House Officer Dharmesh Dayma of Uniara Police Station.

The incident occurred in Mohammadpura village and has left the community in distress. Local authorities were quick to respond to the scene, but unfortunately, their efforts were in vain.

The bodies of the victims were recovered and have since been moved to the mortuary of a nearby hospital for postmortem examinations, as confirmed by SHO Dayma. Further investigations are ongoing.
