Tragic Army Truck Accident Claims Lives of Three Personnel in Arunachal Pradesh
Three Army personnel died and several others were injured after a truck in their convoy skidded off the road into a deep gorge in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Subansiri district. Three Army personnel lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries when their truck skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Subansiri district, police confirmed on Wednesday.
The tragic incident occurred around 6 am on Tuesday along the Trans Arunachal Highway near Tapi village. According to Army sources, the deceased include Havildar Nakhat Singh, Naik Mukesh Kumar, and Grenadier Ashish Kumar.
The ill-fated truck was part of a convoy transporting personnel from Daporijo, the district headquarters, to Basar in Leparada district. Local residents promptly responded to the scene, aiding in the rescue operations and the recovery of the deceased. The Army's Eastern Command and Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed their condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers.
