Two young cousins tragically drowned in a river in Madhya Pradesh's Anuppur district on Sunday, an official reported.
The incident occurred in Cholna village under the jurisdiction of Jaithari police station in the afternoon, according to Dr. SR Paraste of Anuppur district hospital.
''The boys, both aged 9-10, were brought to the district hospital by their relatives. Unfortunately, they were declared dead on arrival,'' said Dr. Paraste. Kin of the victims stated that the boys had gone to the Gujar Nala river for a bath.
