Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh Sainik School in Gorakhpur on Saturday. The institution, covering 49 acres and constructed at a cost of Rs 176 crore, is set to offer residential education for students from classes 6 to 12.
The school's mission, 'Yuvaaon ko Shiksha, Desh ki Raksha,' underscores its commitment to educating young minds for the nation's protection.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the inaugural ceremony, having welcomed Vice-President Dhankhar earlier at Gorakhpur airport.
