More than two crore voters, including 8,821 centurions, are eligible to exercise their franchise in Haryana, Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal announced on Monday.

Agarwal stated that 20,629 polling booths have been set up for the October 5 elections. The total voter count stands at 2,03,54,350, with distinct demographics including 1.07 crore men, 95.77 lakh women, and 467 transgender voters.

The final voter list was published on August 27, and Form-6 submissions for new voters were accepted until September 2, adding 1.29 lakh new voters. Consequently, the total number of registered voters in Haryana now stands at 2.03 crore, Agarwal confirmed.
