Maruti Suzuki Launches New Dzire to Maintain Market Dominance

Maruti Suzuki India has unveiled the latest version of its popular compact sedan, Dzire, on Monday, setting the price range between Rs 6.79 lakh and Rs 10.14 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi.
The automaker, known for its significant market presence, aims to continue catering to diverse customer segments to preserve its dominant position. Despite the growing popularity of SUVs, the company, under the leadership of MD and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi, emphasizes the importance of all vehicle segments in maintaining its market share.
With a global success of selling around 30 lakh Dzire units, Maruti Suzuki has invested approximately Rs 1,000 crore into the model's development. The company's commitment is further highlighted by its 40% market share in domestic passenger vehicles, a figure exceeding 50% within the sedan segment alone. Maruti Suzuki recorded its highest retail sales in October, moving 2.02 lakh units.
