Everton Plans Trio of Test Events at New Stadium
Everton will host three test events at their new stadium in Vauxhall, Liverpool, before moving from Goodison Park. These events include a friendly match for the U-18s, an U-21s match, and a third event yet to be detailed. The goal is to acquire necessary operation certificates.
Everton Football Club announced plans to conduct three test events at their under-construction stadium located in Liverpool's Vauxhall district. These events will precede the club's anticipated relocation from Goodison Park, their home since 1892.
The inaugural event, a friendly match featuring Everton's U-18 squad, is set for February 17 and will accommodate 10,000 spectators. Next, the U-21s are slated to compete in late March or early April with an audience cap of 25,000.
The series of events aim to secure license and safety certifications, allowing the venue to operate at its full 52,888 capacity. Everton will host their final match at Goodison Park on May 18th, against Southampton.
