Sabotage Scare: Two Arrested After Iron Pole Found on Railway Track

Two individuals were arrested in connection with an alleged attempt to derail the Naini Jan Shatabdi Express by placing an iron pole on the tracks. The incident, which occurred near Rudrapur City railway station, was averted by the quick response of the train driver who applied emergency brakes. The suspects claimed they left the pole after consuming alcohol and did not intend to cause any harm.

The suspects, identified as Sunny alias Sania alias Sandeep Chauhan and Bijender alias Tinku, both from Rampur district, claimed they left the pole on the tracks after getting drunk and denied any malicious intent or organizational backing. Investigations are ongoing.
