A gas leak from an LPG tanker wagon near Kanij railway station in Kheda was reported on Saturday, according to an official statement. The Nadiad Fire Brigade was quickly dispatched to the scene. The goods train involved has been halted, and cooling operations on the LPG tanker are currently underway.

Railway PRO Pradeep Sharma confirmed the incident, stating, "There is an incident of gas leakage from an HPCL wagon. The downline remains operational, and trains traveling from Vadodara to Ahmedabad are continuing as scheduled. Work is being conducted to manage the situation."
