Tragedy Strikes: Two Boys Drown in Uttar Pradesh Pond
Two boys, Sohail (10) and Akram (11), drowned while bathing in a pond in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. Despite rescue efforts by a nearby tractor driver, Abhi Kumar, only Aashiq (12) and Arif (9) were saved. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

Two boys drowned while taking a bath in a pond in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district on Sunday, according to local police.
Circle Officer Shailendra Kumar Bajpai reported that Sohail (10), Akram (11), Arif (9), and Aashiq (12) went to the pond in the afternoon. The group found themselves in deep water and began to drown.
Tractor driver Abhi Kumar, who was nearby, managed to save Aashiq and Arif but could not reach Sohail and Akram in time. The bodies of the deceased were later recovered and sent for post-mortem examination.
