SpaceX's Bold Mars Mission: Five Uncrewed Starships to Launch in Two Years

SpaceX is gearing up to launch five uncrewed Starships to Mars within the next two years, CEO Elon Musk revealed in a social media post on Sunday.

According to Musk, if these missions land safely, there is potential for crewed missions to the Red Planet within four years. However, should any challenges arise, the timeline for crewed missions would be pushed back by another two years.

Musk assured that, regardless of the success of these initial landings, SpaceX is committed to increasing the number of spaceships traveling to Mars exponentially with each new transit opportunity. He had previously announced the launch timing for Starships to Mars earlier this month, specifying that the missions would coincide with the next Earth-Mars transfer window in two years.
