In a recent development, a transport firm owner and a driver have been charged with the alleged misappropriation of a consignment valued at Rs 15 lakh, according to a police official.
The consignment was scheduled for delivery in Patna on August 21, but it has yet to arrive, the official from Thane Nagar police station revealed.
The individuals were booked on Friday under charges of criminal breach of trust and other offences as defined in the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
