The pilot alerted air traffic control after discovering a 'Bomb in flight' message written on a tissue paper. Police have launched an investigation. Security agencies, including a bomb detection squad, are inspecting the aircraft while passengers await their luggage.
Air India confirmed the security alert on flight AI 657, emphasizing that all safety protocols were followed. The flight, carrying 135 passengers, landed safely at 8 am and was moved to an isolation bay. All passengers disembarked safely by 8:44 am, with no impact on airport operations.
