Air India Express has announced the launch of six new daily flights, including routes from Chennai and Kolkata, as the airline seeks to strengthen its domestic network.

The newly added flights include three services from Chennai, two from Kolkata, and one from the Guwahati-Jaipur route, with operations having commenced on August 12.

According to a release on Tuesday, the new flights will cover the Chennai-Bhubaneswar, Chennai-Bagdogra, Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata-Varanasi, Kolkata-Guwahati, and Guwahati-Jaipur sectors. Part of the Tata Group, Air India Express currently operates over 380 daily flights with a fleet that includes 54 Boeing 737s and 28 Airbus A320s.
