Early Saturday, drone fragments fell on a municipal building in Kyiv's Obolon district, north of the city center. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed there was no fire at the site, and emergency services were promptly dispatched.

Writing on Telegram, Klitschko mentioned that air defence units had been active in the capital. A Reuters witness reported hearing explosions subsequently in the city.

Serhiy Popko, head of Kyiv's military administration, warned that drones still posed a threat and urged residents to stay in shelters. While the air raid alert for Kyiv was lifted, it remained in effect for several regions of central Ukraine.
