Organizers confirmed on Wednesday that the Indian Grand Prix will return to the MotoGP calendar in 2026, only two months after announcing it would be held at the Buddh International Circuit for three seasons.
Originally scheduled for 2025, the event has been rescheduled due to operational issues. This year's race was canceled, and MotoGP stated that operational circumstances pushed the event to the early stages of 2026.
The inaugural Grand Prix at Buddh in 2023 drew over 100,000 fans, with organizers expecting next year's event to take place in March under more favorable weather conditions.
