The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), India’s premier business school under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has been globally ranked No. 1 for Networking and 51st in LinkedIn’s Top 100 MBA Programs in the world. This prestigious recognition highlights the institute’s growing influence and strong networking capabilities worldwide.

Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal congratulated IIFT, noting that the recognition reflects the institution's expanding global reach and dynamic networking efforts. Commerce Secretary Shri Sunil Barthwal echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the achievement underscores IIFT’s consistent pursuit of academic excellence, research, and its robust connections with alumni, corporates, multilateral organizations, and governments.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Rakesh Mohan Joshi reaffirmed his commitment to transforming IIFT into a world-class Centre of Excellence in academics, research, and training, with a focus on global outreach. He expressed gratitude to the institute’s stakeholders, including students, alumni, corporates, and government partners.

IIFT is establishing a Centre for International Negotiations (CIN), a state-of-the-art facility aimed at providing world-class training to corporates and policymakers on global negotiations. Additionally, the institute is working on the launch of an International Business Case Study Centre, designed to produce top-tier case studies highlighting the achievements and experiences of Indian companies and policymakers, akin to Harvard, in collaboration with exporters, corporates, and the government.
