Gus Atkinson showcased his talents with a stunning maiden century, propelling England to a total of 427 against a beleaguered Sri Lanka bowling attack on day two of the second test at Lord's.
Atkinson, who scored an impressive 118 off 115 balls, was eventually caught by Milan Rathnayake off the bowling of Asitha Fernando, who claimed figures of 5-102.
England added 69 runs to their overnight score of 358-7 before being dismissed, setting a challenging target for the visitors.
