He struck early by dismissing opener Sarthak Ranjan for a duck and continued his rampage with three more wickets within the first five overs. Opener Vaibhav Kandpal (57) and Yajas Sharma (41) tried to salvage the innings with a 55-run partnership, but Sharma's run-out shifted the momentum.

Even though Kandpal and Vaibhav Rawal made a late effort to chase the target, a timely run-out of Rawal and Aayush's clinching wicket of Kandpal sealed the game for Purani Dilli 6.
