This fight served as a rematch, following a massive brawl that occurred in Florida last June.

Mayweather, who retired from professional boxing in 2017 with an unblemished record of 50 wins, dominated the fight from the second round after calling for a change of referee.

By the bout's end, Mayweather and Gotti III shared a respectful embrace in the ring, despite a chorus of boos from the spectators.
