Thapa showcased superior technique and control, defeating Kazakhstan's Anelya Ordabek in the semi-finals and Ukraine's Liudmyla Vasylchenko in the final. India's dominance continued with Bhoomi winning the 35kg class, Nischal Sharma grabbing the 37kg title, and Rakhi triumphing in the 43kg category.
Despite some losses, India claimed seven female titles overall. The event, which included participants from 26 nations, was a landmark moment for Asian women's boxing.
