Mysore Warriors clinched a straightforward 28-run win against the struggling Shivamogga Lions in the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 on Thursday.

Chasing a target of 180, the Lions stumbled to 151 for nine in 20 overs due to restrictive spells from Vidyadhar Patil and CA Karthik. The Lions started disastrously, losing B Mohith and Dheeraj Mohan in the initial deliveries of Vidyadhar's first over.

Despite skipper Nihal Ullal's 46 and a spirited 46-run effort from Abhinav Manohar, the Lions couldn't reverse their fate. Earlier, Karun Nair's 45 and late contributions from J Suchith and Manoj Bhandage propelled Mysore Warriors to a solid total of 179/7. Pacer HS Sharath's notable 4/29 spell wasn't enough to save the Lions.
