Jaishankar Strengthens International Ties in Switzerland

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar engaged in a pivotal meeting with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Thursday, focusing on India's contributions to traditional medicine and public health initiatives.
Arriving from Germany on the final leg of his three-nation tour, which included Saudi Arabia, Jaishankar highlighted the cooperation on social media platform X.
In addition to the WHO discussion, Jaishankar met with United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk, sharing insights on global human rights issues. He also addressed global tectonic shifts at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, expressing gratitude to Ambassadors Jean-David Levitte and Thomas Greminger for their hospitality.
