Two-time Olympic champion Armand Duplantis added another victory to his illustrious resume at the Lausanne Diamond League meeting on Wednesday, breaking the meeting record with a 6.15-metre pole vault.

The 24-year-old Swede needed just four jumps to clear 6.0 metres, securing his win before raising the bar to 6.15 metres and clearing it on his third attempt. Just two weeks ago, Duplantis wowed the Stade de France crowd with a stunning world-record jump of 6.25 metres in Paris.

Olympic silver medallist Sam Kendricks of the U.S. took second place with a 5.92-metre vault, while Norway's Sondre Guttormsen, Australia's Kurtis Marschall, and E.J. Obiena of the Philippines tied for third at 5.82 metres. The Lausanne Diamond League programme continues Thursday at Stade Olympique de la Pontaise.
