Manu Bhaker's dream of scoring a treble at the Olympic Games ended in heartbreak as she lost the tie-shoot for a bronze medal to Hungarian Veronika Major in the women's 25m sports pistol event.

Bhaker, who briefly held the top spot among eight finalists, finished in fourth place. Despite the intense competition and high expectations, the 22-year-old managed to secure twin bronze medals in the women's 10m air pistol and the mixed team 10m air pistol with partner Sarabjot Singh.

The shoot-off was a tense affair, with Bhaker missing out by just one shot. Reflecting on her performance, she acknowledged her nervousness but expressed determination to come back stronger in future games.
