An unfortunate incident occurred in Noorpur on Monday morning, resulting in the tragic deaths of two men due to electrocution. The victims were unloading sand from a truck when it came into contact with a power cable.

The truck, which had arrived from Ramnagar in Uttarakhand, was near a petrol pump on Dhampur road when the mishap took place around 8 am. Station House Officer Ravindra Kumar confirmed the details.

The truck driver, Saiful (28), and the truck owner's son, Suhail (24), sustained severe burn injuries and were immediately transported to a local hospital. Sadly, both were pronounced dead upon arrival. The bodies have been sent for a postmortem examination.
