Heavy rainfall in Delhi on Friday caused severe traffic disruptions and extensive waterlogging across multiple areas, including Dhaula Kuan.
Three people, including a teenage boy, lost their lives in rain-related incidents over the past 24 hours. Commuters struggled as many had to navigate waist-deep water, dragging their vehicles along submerged roads.
The Public Works Department reported receiving around 50 complaints about waterlogging, with almost half resolved. Ongoing efforts by police and municipal authorities aim to alleviate the situation in severely affected zones like Dhaula Kuan, Mundka Metro Station, and Moti Bagh.
