CIDCO conducted a computerized lottery draw for 3,322 affordable homes at its Navi Mumbai headquarters on Friday, according to an official statement.
These homes, located in Taloja and Dronagiri nodes, have been allocated to applicants from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and general categories, as per a release from the City and Industrial Development Corporation.
Taloja and Dronagiri are fast-developing regions due to their proximity to major infrastructure like the JNPT port, upcoming Navi Mumbai airport, and the Nerul-Uran suburban rail corridor, the official added.
The lottery process, conducted via software free from human intervention, was inspected by the computer department of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
