Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a strong stance against the Congress party on Tuesday, accusing them of speaking the 'language of Pakistan' by pushing for the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir. Modi's remarks came as he addressed multiple rallies in Maharashtra, criticizing the Congress for allegedly seeking to divide Dalits, tribals, and OBCs.
In his speeches, Modi targeted the Maha Vikas Aghadi, the main opposition alliance in the upcoming elections, calling them the 'biggest player of corruption' and a hindrance to Maharashtra's development. He emphasized that the Congress's return to promoting Article 370 only serves to benefit separatism and violence in the region.
Modi further accused the Congress of attempting to divide communities on caste lines and advised people to remain united to safeguard their reservations. He claimed that the restoration of Article 370 was not just against the interests of Jammu & Kashmir but also against the nation's unity.
