In the political arena, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy delivered a searing critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday as Maharashtra prepares for its pivotal assembly elections. Reddy accused the BJP of duping the electorate over the past few years, asserting that the ruling party has lacked any substantive narrative.

Reddy lambasted BJP leaders for diverting attention away from their shortcomings by casting aspersions on others, particularly targeting Telangana. He encouraged BJP leaders to visit Telangana to witness fulfilled promises, contrasting sharply with what he described as BJP's failure to double farmers' income in Maharashtra, resulting in over 20,000 suicides in 11 years.

The Chief Minister lauded Congress, asserting that the party stands by its guarantees, in contrast to BJP's alleged deceit. He cited the creation of Telangana, ensured by Sonia Gandhi, as proof of Congress's credibility. As Maharashtra's assembly elections loom, slated for November 20 with results on November 23, Reddy promised a decisive rebuttal from the voters.
