In a bold accusation, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has claimed that the BJP and Congress are attempting to undermine Dalit reservation policies in states under their control, threatening the rights of marginalized communities.

Utilizing social media for her statement, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister criticized the BJP-led government's introduction of sub-reservation policies in Haryana, and similar measures implemented by Congress governments in Telangana and Karnataka. She described these actions as efforts to make reservations ineffective.

Mayawati further alleged that both parties, along with the Samajwadi Party, are engaging in divisive tactics. She warned that these strategies threaten societal unity and emphasized the importance of protecting Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's legacy. The BSP remains unaffiliated with the BJP's NDA or the Congress-led INDIA bloc.
