In a strategic meeting held on Sunday, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) convened top leaders including Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Bihar chief, Raju Tiwari, to deliberate on the upcoming Bihar by-polls. The assembly of leaders, comprising all state presidents and senior figures, outlined plans to win the elections on four key seats, expressing strong confidence in their success.

The assembly by-polls are set to occur in the constituencies of Ramgarh, Tarari, Imamganj, and Belaganj. During the meeting, Tiwari addressed the recent violence in Bhagalpur, condemning the acts of temple vandalism and stressing that such incidents are in stark contrast with the values upheld by the NDA. He affirmed the government's stance against violence, attributing current disturbances to disruptive elements.

On the opposing front, Bihar's Mahagathbandhan, or Grand Alliance, unveiled its list of candidates for the same by-elections, nominating Roshan Kumar Majhi, Vishwanath Kumar Singh, Ajit Kumar Singh, and Raju Yadav for the four respective constituencies. These elections are part of the larger electoral process spread over 15 Indian states, with future assembly elections in Bihar anticipated for October-November 2025.
