Boxing sensation Saweety Boora has been bestowed with the prestigious Arjuna Award, symbolizing a pivotal moment in her athletic journey. With renewed vigor, she declared, "I am feeling very good. I will work hard to win more medals for the nation." Saweety shared her aspirations following the honor, indicating her commitment to elevate India's status in the boxing world.
Deepak Niwas Hooda, a fellow Arjuna awardee and noted Kabaddi player, voiced his pride over his wife's accomplishment, reflecting on their shared dedication to sports excellence. "It is a matter of great pride for a sportsperson to receive the Arjuna Award," Hooda remarked, attributing thanks to Prime Minister Modi for his supportive sports policies.
