Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lambasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, accusing him of systematically dismantling the employment system in the country.
Speaking at a rally in Assandh, Gandhi confidently predicted a Congress sweep in the upcoming October 5 Haryana Assembly elections. He also highlighted issues such as the caste census and accused the BJP of dividing people.
Gandhi cited his conversations with Haryana youths struggling abroad to underline the dire job situation in the state, blaming the BJP and its policies. He further criticized the party for harming small businesses and favoring Chinese products, and reiterated Congress' pledges to address unemployment and support farmers.
