Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav strongly criticized Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accusing him of betraying the people of the state. During the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Parivartan Yatra, Yadav asserted that the people are now favoring a 'double-engine' government, with hopes for a BJP victory in the upcoming elections.
Speaking to ANI, Yadav emphasized the alleged failures of the Soren government, claiming it has not met the needs of the people. He highlighted the overwhelming support for the BJP's six Yatras and expressed optimism that the wave of development under Prime Minister Modi's leadership will be unstoppable.
Before his visit to Jharkhand, Yadav blamed the current struggles of the state on the misgovernance of Congress and its allies. He argued that despite its resources, Jharkhand has suffered due to poor governance, pointing to instances of the Chief Minister's legal troubles as evidence. Jharkhand is set to hold elections for its legislative assembly by December 2024, though the schedule is yet to be announced by the Election Commission.
