Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has spoken out against the opposition's criticism of state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule following a controversial car accident involving Bawankule's son.
The incident occurred in Nagpur, where the driver of Sanket Bawankule's Audi was arrested after the car hit multiple vehicles. Fadnavis, who also heads the home department, stated that an FIR has been registered and the case is under investigation. He emphasized that targeting Bawankule was inappropriate.
In a related statement, BJP leader Raosaheb Danve assured that the individual responsible for the accident would face legal consequences, reinforcing that Sanket Bawankule was indeed in the car at the time. Danve insisted that the law should take its due course.
