Tragic Scooter Accident Claims Lives of Two Teenagers in Thane

Two teenagers were killed in a scooter accident involving a container truck on the Mumbai-Nashik highway in Thane district. The victims, aged 18 and 15, were returning to Bhiwandi city after celebrating Dahi Handi when the accident occurred near Vadape village early Monday morning.

In a tragic incident, two teenage boys lost their lives early Monday morning when their scooter was hit by a container truck on the Mumbai-Nashik highway in Thane district, police reported.

The victims, aged 18 and 15, were en route to Bhiwandi city after participating in Dahi Handi celebrations. The accident took place near Vadape village around 4:30 AM.

The deceased have been identified as Khurshid alias Ayan Nazir Ali Ansari, 18, and Ashish Varma, 15. Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading to the fatal collision.
