On Tuesday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini officially filed his nomination papers from the Ladwa assembly constituency for the upcoming state assembly polls set for October 5.

Joined by his wife Suman Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal, Saini conducted a roadshow where BJP supporters warmly greeted him with garlands.

During the roadshow, Saini drove a tractor, symbolizing his connection with grassroots support. Speaking to reporters, Khattar expressed confidence that the BJP would secure a third-term victory in Haryana.

Asserting the party's readiness, Saini revealed that the BJP has already chosen 67 candidates, with the remaining 23 candidates to be announced shortly. He emphasized the BJP's accomplishments in combating corruption, reducing nepotism, and empowering marginalized groups, claiming that the Congress would face defeat in the elections.

The election process will see voting on October 5 and vote counting on October 8. Candidates have until September 12 to file nominations, with scrutiny on September 13 and the last date for withdrawal on September 16.
