The Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarti Parishad (ABVP) announced on Friday that it will form a committee to nominate candidates for the upcoming Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections.

In a press conference at their North Campus office, the outgoing ABVP-led DUSU stated that the selection panel might nominate a female candidate for the president's post.

The union also highlighted its achievements during its tenure and set the election date for September 27, with results to be declared the following day.
