The Congress on Wednesday announced the formation of a manifesto coordination committee ahead of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand.
The committee includes notable figures such as former Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdeo and Amitabh Dubey. According to a statement from the party, this committee will coordinate with state manifesto committees to guide campaign activities and gather inputs.
Election dates are set, with the 90-member Jammu and Kashmir Assembly voting in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1. Meanwhile, Haryana's 90-member Assembly votes on October 5, with counting for both states on October 8. Maharashtra and Jharkhand will hold elections subsequently.
