Jannayak Janta Party and Azad Samaj Party Announce Candidates for Haryana Polls
The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Azad Samaj Party (ASP) have released their first list of 19 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. The list includes former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and his brother Digvijay Singh Chautala. The two parties recently formed an alliance, with JJP contesting 70 seats and ASP contesting 20.

The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Azad Samaj Party (ASP) unveiled their initial list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections on Wednesday.
The JJP has fielded former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala from Uchana Kalan, where he currently serves as MLA. Meanwhile, Amarjeet Dhanda will seek re-election from the Julana segment and Digvijay Singh Chautala from Dabwali. The ASP, led by Chandra Shekhar Azad, has also announced its four candidates.
An alliance between JJP and ASP has been formed, with JJP contesting 70 of the 90 assembly seats and ASP contesting 20. In the 2019 elections, Dushyant Chautala triumphed over Prem Lata, wife of veteran leader Birender Singh, who has since moved to Congress.
